With all due respect to the KLR and other dual sports, who needs 'em? A Regular on the Ninja250 Riders Club , Skippii, went for a ride on his Ninja and stopped to take a few pictures, as seen below. Read the ride report >here.
I would worry that if the ninja was designed for street use that if running over alot of dirt roads and thru the woods and creeks that it would fill up in all the covers and places that wernt designed to shed out that sort of stuff and cause problems excess wear down the road and cut serious time off the life of the bike so i would stick with the KLR if your thinking about any off road riding but if not then the ninja would be a good choice

Well, not off roading like that, but I bet the Ninja could handle dirt roads and forest roads pretty well. Noone says you have to go 50 mph on them :)
